Bronwyn Robertson, LPC
Thank you for taking an interest in my work.
Helping others reach their true potential and overcome obstacles to their personal growth and wellness has been a life-long calling for me. During my 20+ years of experience in private practice and non-profit community agency service, I have found that an integrative, mindfulness-based approach to therapy is most effective for people who are struggling with anxiety, addiction, stress, panic, trauma, phobias, obsessions and compulsions, chronic pain, insomnia, depression and mood disorders.
I value the opportunities I have had to lecture and publish internationally on mindfulness-based psychotherapy, the treatment of anxiety and trauma, and psychotherapy for individuals with intellectual disabilities. I have also been honored to have served on a number of local, national and international committees, boards and special interest groups to help promote mental health and wellness.
My training includes Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Adoption Competency Therapy , EMDR level 1, Play Therapy, Somatic Experiencing, Trauma Model Therapy, and Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am a member of the American Counseling Association, The Somatic Experiencing Trauma Institute, and the National Association for Dual Diagnosis.
